Air Fryer Shake and Bake Pork Chops

These Air Fryer Shake and Bake Pork Chops are super easy and will quickly become one of your favorite air fryer meals! Super crispy and flavorful on the outside and juicy on the inside! The perfect easy dinner for your family, ready in less than 30 minutes! Even kids love them!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Boneless pork chops (4 chops, 8 oz each)
  • 5 oz Box Shake n’ Bake (Shake and Bake) Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix I recommend using both packs inside (2). You can use one pack but get a nice coating using both is easier.
  • 2 large Eggs
  • teaspoon 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne (optional)
  • Optional: Air Fryer Safe Cooking Spray

Instructions

  • Optional: Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F
  • Crack both eggs into small bowl.
  • Add salt, smoked paprika, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne and thyme into egg mixture and mix well.
  • Dip each piece of pork into the egg mixture and then put it into the bag with the shake and bake and shake up to coat. 
  • Place shake and bake pork chops into air fryer basket. Do not overlap or crowd air fryer basket.
  • Then air fry shake and bake pork chops on 400°F for approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Flip and cook for another 6 to 8 minute (approximately) until cooked to an internal temperature of at least 160°F.
  • Depending on your air fryer, the size of your fryer basket and amount of pork chops in the basket, you can cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until you reach your desired level of crispness and internal temperature as needed.

Notes

Pre-Heating Air Fryer: I recommend pre-heating air fryer. However, if you choose not to pre-heat, add about 3-4 minutes to your cook time. Check for crispiness at the end of your cook time and add additional cook time as needed until your pork chops reach correct internal temperature as recommended by FDA.
This recipe works well with any brand of air fryer including Ninja Foodi, Gourmia, Vortex, Nuwave, Cuisinart, Cosori, Power XL and Power Air.
