Ingredients

  • 8 breakfast sausage links or patties
  • Optional: Air Fryer Safe Cooking Spray

Instructions

  • Optional: Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Cooking spray helps the breakfast sausage from sticking to each other if you are cooking a larger batch.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place frozen breakfast sausage in fryer basket. Do not overfill basket. One even layer is recommended.

Frozen Breakfast Sausage Links or Patties

  • Cook on 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Flip half-way.

Fresh Breakfast Sausage Links or Patties

  • Cook on 400°F for 8-10 minutes. Flip half-way.

Fully Cooked Breakfast Sausage Links or Patties

  • Cook on 400°F for 5-6 minutes. Flip half-way.
  • Depending on your air fryer, the size of your fryer basket and amount of breakfast sausage in the basket, you can shake the basket and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until you reach your desired level of doneness as needed. Be sure to follow FDA guidelines to cook your food to safe temperature.
