Air Fryer Top Sirloin Steak

This air fryer top sirloin steak is super easy and will quickly become one of your favorite easy dinner recipes! This affordable steak cut, seasoned to perfection will be a family favorite for sure. Instructions

  • Optional: Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Cooking spray helps sticking if you are cooking a larger batch.
  • Drizzle top sirloin steaks with oil and sprinkle with seasonings of choice.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F
  • Place top sirloin steaks in air fryer basket.
  • Cook on 400°F for approximately 6-10 minutes (flipping halfway). Use temperature probe to monitor internal temperature of steak (see notes for temperature and doneness guide).
  • Depending on your air fryer, the size of your fryer basket and size/thickness of top sirloin steaks, you can cook for an additional 1 minute until you reach your desired level of doneness as needed.

Notes

Temperature Guide:
  • Rare: 125°F (remove at 120°F and rest 5 minutes)
  • Medium-Rare: 135°F (remove at 130°F and rest 5 minutes)
  • Medium: 145°F (remove at 140°F and rest 5 minutes)
  • Medium Well: 155°F (remove at 150°F and rest 5 minutes)
  • Well: 160°F (remove at 155°F and rest 5 minutes)
Pre-Heating Air Fryer: I recommend pre-heating air fryer. However, if you choose not to pre-heat, add about 3-4 minutes to your cook time. Check for doneness at the end of your cook time and add additional cook time as needed until your top sirloin steaks reach desired level of doneness.
This recipe works well with any brand of air fryer including Ninja Foodi, Gourmia, Vortex, Nuwave, Cuisinart, Cosori, Power XL and Power Air.
